Care for Members: One of the enduring marks of our congregation is a remarkable system of care provided by our members for other members and their families. We provide regular phone calls, transportation, crisis care, and bereavement support that includes visits, food, of course and receptions for families and friends following funerals. We even maintain a medical equipment loan service! Contact our congregation's Care Coordinator, Dot Sheaffer (949-8479) for more Information
Lay Eucharistic Ministers: There are several teams of specially trained lay Eucharistic ministers who visit our home and hospital bound members for the purpose of providing support and bringing Holy Communions from the worship service to share with those that could not be present.
Fellowship Gatherings: At least once a month and once during the summer we get together as a congregation just because it's fun! We call it "Super Sunday Lunch" and we use these gatherings to reconnect, get to know someone new and talk together about topics important to our life together. Check our church calendar for the dates and times of this month's gathering!
ChristCare Small Group Ministry: Our Congregation is part of a network of congregation using the model for small group ministries developed by the same people who developed "Stephen's Ministry" program. Leaders are well trained and supported and all groups are involved in four key areas of faith development: Community Building, Worship & Prayer, Biblical Equipping; and Mission Service. We are excited about the many ways our small group ministry enables our members and friends to grow in their faith find a community of care and discover meaningful ways to serve others. We encourage all information or contact any of our ChristCare Small Group leaders.
